COMMON Questions
How long does it take to dry?
Depends on fabric. Thinner and finer fabrics tend to dry faster, about 4-6 hours. Thicker and more heavy duty fabrics a bit more, around 8-12 hours. AC under 73 F helps, as well as fans on.
Tiles are quick, usually 30 minutes.
Are the chemicals harmful to me, my kids or my pets?
Not at all! Everything used in the process is kid and pet friendly
When can I step on my carpets?
whenever you want, they are YOUR carpets, they will be wet for a couple of hours, but you are free to walk on them, you won’t harm the job or your carpet.
Do I need to have anything prepared for you?
We have all the tools needed to get the job done in any situation. We have a very strong vacuum (gasoline powered) and we move furniture within reason.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We have all the qualifications and certificates needed to operate and provide a good job.
Do I need to protect my furniture?
With the cleaning that One True Clean provides, your furniture will be back to its original self, we do recommend adding a scotch guard to it to prolong its life and making future stains and spills easier to clean. Most furniture doesn’t come with this. It is a nice addition to help protect them.
Will there be color bled into my carpets from my chairs and sofa?
No, we have special plastic chips we put under the feet of the furniture to prevent things like this from happening.
How does your professional job differ from the rental machine I can get at the corner store?
Shortly put, about $80,000.00. We have a whole van and system dedicated to this, our machine has a stronger pressure output, the steam is hotter, and an outstanding vacuum suction that no other machine will get close to. Also the knowledge on chemicals and techniques to remove stains and not damage your furniture.
